Currently, limited knowledge is available about the combined effects of drought and light in case cold stress. The investigation quantum yield kinetics may help understand how plants utilize under adverse environmental conditions. In present study, mild helped preserve durum wheat (Triticum L.). time necessary to reach steady-state actual corresponded with sensitivity. Possible underlying mechanisms induced by drought, such as reduction malondialdehyde content, accumulation D-sorbit, glycine betaine, have protected photosynthetic apparatus integrity reactions. Low sucrose content at normal growth might caused stomatal closing promoted photorespiration. contrast light, low moderate positively affected maintained glycolysis energy production temperature. Present results emphasized role a sufficient acclimation factor against wheat.
